1 - How can I get my airtime and the amount of my last bill?

2 - Can I know your opening hours?

Our Customer Service Representatives are pleased to be at your service all year round, 7 days a week from 7:00 am till 1:00 am, through our free of charge Helpline (111). You are always welcome at any of our Alfa stores. Our office hours are from Monday till Friday (8:00 am until 5:00 pm) and on Saturdays (8:00 am until 1:00pm) except for national official holidays, where our offices will be closed.
You may find below our Alfa stores addresses:

  • Beirut: Palm Center, Chevrolet Roundabout.
  • Tripoli: Maarad Rachid Karameh walk, Abraj al-Saaidi, opposite to Al-Nini hospital.
  • Chtaura: El-Hayek center, Main Street, next to Green's Café.
  • Saida: Al-Sharki walk, Next to Municipality Roundabout Al-Tajhiz Wa El-Bena'a building.

3 - What are the required documents to buy a new Alfa Postpaid and Alfa Business lines, or to migrate your prepaid line to a postpaid line?

I-Alfa Postpaid line required documents are for the:

- For the Lebanese Resident:

  • ID or Civil record or Valid passport or Military Service Card or Army Reserve Card or Military Specimen number 2 .
  • Proof of Residence (Residence Certificate stamped by the mayor not older than 3 months, or Water, PSTN or electricity bill issued in your name, or a house lease contract, house property deed in your name)
  • Deposit: $100 deposit when migrating the line from prepaid to postpaid and $50 when purchasing a new postpaid line

- For the Foreign Resident:

  • Valid Passport or Personal Identity Card or Residence Permit
  • Deposit of $100 in case of line migration or $50 Deposit in case of new postpaid line.
  • Proof of Residence or Letter of guarantee or deposit of $250 per line or Residence Certificate stamped by the mayor or Water, PSTN or electricity bill issued in the name of the customer or House lease contract, house property deed
    N.B: If you have a residence permit, there will be no need for any Proof of Residence or its equivalent.
  • Payment method automatic direct debit at the bank is obligatory.

- For the Foreign Non-Resident:

  • Valid Passport or Personal Identity Card
  • Deposit: 250$ (deposit or as a letter of guarantee) per line
  • Payment method is obligatory through automatic direct debit at the bank

N.B: Your direct debit document should be signed by you and sealed by the bank
If you have more than 5 lines, you must bring a letter of guarantee or a deposit of $250

II - Alfa Business required documents are:

  • Subscription Agreement signed by the authorized person
  • Commercial circular(signature authorization-not older than 1 year)
  • Commercial register stamped
  • Direct debit by the company name, signed by the authorized person and stamped.
  • Identity Card of the authorized person.
  • When an old business customer is adding a line (line transfer) to his account, the commercial circular that's under doc query should be verified in order to make sure that it's not older than one year; otherwise a new one should be provided.
  • Proof of residence of the authorized person (one of the following) not older than 3 months:
    1. Residence certificate stamped by the mayor.
    2. Residence permit.
    3. Water, PSTN or electricity bill issued in the name of the customer.
    4. House lease contract, house property deed.
    5. Other
  • One proof of the following documents are a must (in the name of the company) not older than 3 months:
    1. Last electricity bill.
    2. Last OGERO fixed line bill.
    3. Justification of office rental.
    4. Proof of office property.
    5. VAT document.
    6. Other
N.B: Foreign companies don't have commercial register and circular. They should provide a Factual Statement, signed and stamped by the Ministry of Commerce and Economy in addition to the other formalities.

4 - What are the Alfa Postpaid tariffs for voice and SMS
  • Voice from Alfa to Alfa: $0.11/min, equal to 166 LBP excluding VAT
  • Voice Alfa to MTC or Ogero: US$0.11+10LBP excluding VAT
  • SMS: $0.09/160 character in Latin - $0.09/70 character in Arabic excluding VAT
  • International: $0.11/min + CTN* Excluding VAT
5 - What are the required documents to purchase a prepaid line?

One of the below documents is needed:

  • ID
  • Valid Passport
  • Civil Record
  • Military Service Card
  • Army Reserve Card
  • Lebanese Drivers License
  • Lebanese Syndicate Card
  • Military Exemption Card
  • University Card
6 - What are the documents required to recuperate my lost SIM card?

1. In case you own an alfa Classic or Business line, you have to come in person to one of our nearest Alfa store* in order to retrieve a new SIM card.

One of the following documents must be presented:
  • Identity Card
  • Civil Record
  • Valid Passport
  • Lebanese Drivers License
  • Lebanese Syndicate Card
  • University Card

Moreover, customer can authorize someone on his behalf to replace his stolen SIM card. The authorized person should hold his/her valid Identity Card along with an express delegation duly signed by the person mentioned in the contract. In case of an alfa business, the delegation must be stamped by the official company LOGO.

2. In case you hold an alfa active line, you have to come in person to one of our nearest Alfa store* in order to retrieve a new SIM card.

One of the following documents must be presented:
  • Identity Card
  • Civil Record
  • Valid Passport
  • Lebanese Drivers License
  • Lebanese Syndicate Card
  • University Card

Several questions will be asked to confirm your ownership. Any available proof of ownership (information/ documents) should be presented.

*Our Alfa store is available in the following region: Beirut/ Tripoli/ Chtaura/ Saida/ Jounieh/ Nabatieh/ Halba.

Cost:

- SIM Replacement fee = 5.5$ including VAT.
- SIM Replacement is free of charge in case of Rebranding (old cellis sim)

7 - How do I activate the roaming and international services on my mobile?

a) International Access:

International Access enables subscribers to make international calls for a limited access. Subscription is free of charge. The limited access given by the International Access is $50. After 3 months, $50 limit can be changed to $80 if you are a good payer.

b) The International LG:

This service allows you to make international calls for an unlimited amount (80% of your deposit).

To activate the International LG, you must submit: - A bank guarantee or a deposit of $750, along with a direct debit from the bank, as a method of payment - The international LG subscription is free of charge and it is activated within 24 hours

c) Roaming

To subscribe to Roaming service is free of charge. You must submit a Letter of guarantee or deposit for an amount of 1000$/line, along with an automatic withdrawal. Make sure that we have an agreement with the visited countries.

d) Sms Roaming

- Fee: Subscription is free of charge. Be sure that we have an agreement with the visited countries
SMS roaming is activated by default on all postpaid users’ lines.

e) Regional Roaming

- Fee: Subscription is free of charge
- Requirements:
  • Letter of guarantee or deposit for an amount of 300$/line.
  • Automatic withdrawal simple or double

8 - How am I billed?

We have four bill cycles. Monthly subscriptions are always paid in advance. Consumption is paid as follows:

Bill cycle 8:Consumption between the 9th at 0:00 and 8th at 24:00 of each month.
SMS bill will be delivered between the 10th and 11th of the month.

Bill cycle 15:Consumption between the 16th at 0:00 and 15th at 24:00 of each month.
SMS bill will be delivered between the 17th and 18th of the month.

Bill cycle 22:Consumption between the 23rd at 0:00 and 22nd at 24:00 of each month.
SMS bill will be delivered between the 24th and 25th of the month.

Bill cycle 25:Consumption between the 26th at 0:00 and 25th at 24:00 of each month.
SMS bill will be delivered between the 27th and 28th of the month.

9 - What is the message center number?

The message center should be entered to your mobile to enable sending SMS.

10 - How can I contact customer service?

11 - What are the available payment methods?

- Automatic withdrawal:

If you have an account in any bank on the Lebanese territory you can simply fill and sign the automatic withdrawal form, either simple or double and send us our copy so we can apply it .Then the amount of your invoice will be debited straight from your account on monthly basis.
The bill days for this payment method are: 8, 15 and 22 of each month.

You are kindly advised to settle your bill before the due date in order to keep your line active.

- Bank Counter:


You can choose one of the five agreed banks to pay your bill on their counters without the necessity of opening an account. The banks are: SGBL, MAWARED, BYBLOS, BLF and FRANSABANK. The invoices will be issued each 25 of the month. You can pay between 5 and 12 of the following month.

- Jibayat:

*Jibayat Domicile:

Jibayat is a collection company who delivers to Alfa clients their invoices and collects the due amounts in the same time. The dispatch rider visits the client according to your given address. The date of the invoice issue is 25 and the client has a delay between 5 and 19 of the following month. The amount must be paid directly to the dispatch rider and a receipt will be given on the spot.

*Jibayat Offices:

Subscribers can visit Jibayat offices to pick up and pay their bills.
Jibayat number: 1314


12 - What is my default PIN code and how can I unblock it?

The PIN code is 0000 by default. After 3 wrong entries the PIN is blocked. To unblock the PIN you have to enter your PUK. Your PUK is mentioned on your SIM card holder. In case you do not have your SIM card holder, you need to contact our helpline 111 free of charge service.
