24 September 2017

Beirut, Lebanon September 25, 2017: Under the patronage of the Minister of Telecommunications Jamal Jarrah and in his presence, the artist with autism Ali Tlais displayed his new collection of paintings at the Beirut Art Fair. This is Tlais’ eighth exhibition held by Alfa, managed by Orascom TMT, as part of the continuous support it offers to him and the Lebanese Autism Society (LAS) as part of the "Alfa 4-life" CSR Program.

The event was attended by Alfa Chairman and CEO Marwan Hayek, in addition to political, diplomatic, artistic and cultural figures, who came to admire the paintings of Tlais.

This year's exhibition, entitled “Maisons Traditionnelles Libanaises” (Traditional Lebanese homes), presented 17 paintings of Lebanese heritage houses incorporating Lebanese culture and civilization, in line with the theme of this year's Beirut Art Fair, which featured the works of Lebanese, Arab and international artists.

Once again, Tlais displayed his talent, moving flawlessly from the world of autism to the world of art through his paintings. Ali was coached and supervised by the President of the Graphic Designers Union in Lebanon, Rita Moukarzel.

All proceeds of this exhibition went to Ali Tlais and LAS.
