Beirut, August 8, 2022: Alfa announces that calls and data services are back to normal in Chekka, Anfeh and some areas in Koura. Subscribers in these areas have experienced partial outages resulting from the repetitive thefts and the sabotage of Al Nourieh site. Alfa re-supplied the site with fuel and repaired the damages. It has also taken all necessary precautionary measures to prevent further thefts and sabotage of the site. Besides, the company has also proceeded with legal measures against the perpetrators.
Alfa calls upon municipalities to support in securing sites located in their proximity against thefts and acts of vandalism which safeguards the rights of subscribers who reside in areas affected by sites’ thefts.
