Beirut, Lebanon – November 20, 2025: Alfa launched two new prepaid Army Line plans as part of its commitment to expanding and enhancing its services portfolio. These plans are dedicated to members of the Lebanese Army, families of army martyrs, Internal Security Forces, General Security, the Association of Retired Lebanese Armed Forces, Civil Defense, Municipal Police, Customs Police, and the Parliament Police.
The two plans include the following features:
Alfa Chairman and CEO, Rafic El Haddad, stated that “launching these two plans is Alfa’s tribute to the military and security institutions for their efforts, and a gesture to support their ability to stay connected. The launch comes on the eve of Independence Day, the very special occasion cherished by every Lebanese.” He added that “this initiative falls within Alfa’s strategy
to diversify its services and offer more value to subscribers in coordination with the Ministry of Telecommunications. This follows our recent efforts, which included the launch of three new plans and the additional Alfa A+ offer dedicated to university students, making mobile services more affordable to subscribers from various segments. These plans match real consumption patterns of Alfa subscribers, and they are gaining remarkable demand”.
El Haddad underscored that “this step comes in tandem with Alfa’s ongoing commitment to upgrading and modernizing the network to enhance service quality. This effort has so far resulted in the deployment of 37 new sites, a significant improvement in internet speeds, and increased performance across key network indicators with service availability now reaching 98%.”
The two new plans were designed to match the consumption behavior of subscribers. The existing $1.5 Army Line prepaid plan will remain available offering the same benefits: 120 minutes, 120 SMS, and 1.5GB per month. However, all current postpaid Army Line plans will be automatically converted into prepaid plans with the same features and cost starting from the upcoming billing cycle for each line. These subscribers may later switch to either of the new Army Line plans should they find them more suitable for their consumption pattern and needs.
