Beirut, Lebanon, August 12, 2025: Alfa announces a major restructuring of its mobile internet bundles for both postpaid and prepaid lines driven by actual subscriber consumption patterns and behaviors on the network. Within this approach, Alfa launched 7 new bundles now available to subscribers, shifting from the concept of “many bundles” to “more data” with the aim of delivering greater value to subscribers.
These bundles address subscribers’ actual needs for mobile internet and come in response to a rising demand for data on Alfa’s network, which increased by 30% by the end of July 2025 compared to the same period last year.
The new bundles were designed following extensive analysis of user patterns which have shown for example that 40% of Alfa’s postpaid subscribers and 35% of prepaid subscribers renew their bundles more than once a month because their data quotas do not match their consumption needs. Findings also revealed that 64% of total data usage on Alfa’s network comes from social media apps, mostly video-based apps such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, with a growing tendency among users to watch in higher quality (HD and Full HD) and at faster speeds on the 4G+ network. This reality signals that the required data capacity among users has grown significantly.
The new bundles offer multiple options, including a reduction of up to 50% in the price per gigabyte. The launch marks the first phase of Alfa’s bundle restructuring aiming to match internet quotas with the real needs of subscribers’ and data consumption habits. The objective is to offer larger data and a single bundle that is sufficient for the month, reducing the need for frequent bundle renewal and removing the worry of running out of data or paying extra fees for extra MBs usage.
